Armitage Gone! Dance
In February of 2009, MF Productions worked with this contemporary dance company to produce their annual Gala. This event had a fun theme of "Think Punk!"" that was incorporated into the printed materials, dcor, silent and live auction, and performance that constituted this memorable evening. Approximately 300 guests enjoyed the festivities at Capitale in downtown Manhattan. The company instituted its first annual award, given to artist Jeff Koons and philanthropist and businessman Earle Mack. The event brought out many figures from the social, art, and dance worlds, raised nearly $500,000 and garnered significant press. In February 2011, MF Productions again worked with Armitage Gone! Dance for their gala at Capitale. Dcor and menu were inspired by the Chinese New Year, which coincided with the event. The evening included cocktails, dinner, and a series of "happenings," or site-specific performances, on various stages. An auction of the Exquisite Corpse, an art project including over 100 works by over 200 artists, was held to raise funds for the company.
