Reginald F. Lewis Foundation
In June of 2009, MF Productions produced the annual gala luncheon for the Reginald F. Lewis Foundation. The Foundation was formed after the passing of Mr. Lewis and is the main financial supporter of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture, among many other educational initiatives. This event raises funds that go directly to the Museum.
The event took place a private estate in East Hampton, with cocktails overlooking the beach followed by lunch and a program in a tent. Honorees were business mogul R. Donohue Peebles who received the Reginald F. Lewis award, and Retired Colonel Lee A. Archer, Jr. who was inducted into the Museum’s Millennium Circle. Three hundred guests enjoyed a southern buffet lunch, a performance by Dance Theater of Harlem, and dancing.
