Onassis Foundation USA
In March 2017, MF Productions helped the Onassis Foundation USA to produce the opening of their Spring Exhibition, A World Full of Emotions: Ancient Greece, 700 BC 200 AD. The event was held in the Olympic Tower. The exhibition illuminated the significance of emotions in Greek culture, approximately from the time of Homer to the end of Antiquity. There were a variety of artworks and objects, including masterpieces of Greek sculpture and vase painting ranging, from life-size statues from the Athenian Acropolis, to grave reliefs from cemeteries, magical texts, oracular inquiries, and theater masks.
The exhibition showed why the study of emotions in Classical Antiquity may help us better understand our contemporary social and cultural environments.
In October 2016, MF Productions assisted The Onassis Foundation USA with their Festival for Arts and Ideas, Antigone Now. The organization is committed to the promotion of the Hellenic culture. By cooperating with educational and cultural institutions in Greece and throughout the Americas, the Onassis Foundation USA promotes cultural relations.
