Queens Museum
For the fourth year in a row, MF productions helped the Queens Museum produce their annual gala on April 25, 2018. The evening featured a cocktail reception with hors d�oeuvres donated by local restaurants, a delicious dinner by Abigail Kirsch, interactive art-making activities, and special tours of the exhibit Mel Chin: All Over the Place. The Queens Museum strives to embrace the cultural diversity of the Queens borough, and this event was a celebration of that mission. The evening was emceed by Eric Shiner, Sotheby�s SVP of Contemporary Art and the successful paddle raise to support the Queens Museum�s programs was led by Sotheby�s Auctioneer, Christy Williams.
In April, 2017 for the third year in a row, MF Productions helped the Queens Museum produce their annual Spring Gala. This year�s event celebrated the incredible programming of the Queens Museum and civic, cultural, and business leaders throughout the Queens neighborhood.�The Queens of Culture Gala featured a cocktail reception, with hors d�oeuvres donated by local restaurants and bakeries. The celebrated honoree of the night was USTA Chairperson, Katrina Adams. After dinner, guests were treated to a live performance by Abby Dobson. The event mirrored the Museum�s work and their dedication to the cultural diversity of the borough of Queens.
In April 2016 MF Productions helped the Queens Museum produce their annual Spring Gala. The event honored artists Mierle Laderman Ukeles and Tania Bruguera. The festive evening featured food from some of Queen’s favorite restaurants, breweries and distilleries. As added entertainment to the evening, guests were treated to an incredible live performance by K-pop bad, EXP.
In June 2015, MF Productions worked with the Queens Museum to produce their annual gala. The event celebrated Queens of Culture and honored Queens Borough Presidents Claire Shulman, Helen Marshall and Melinda Katz. The cocktail hour featured hors d'oeuvres donated by local Queens restaurants. The event also featured a special performance by Yozmit, a performance artist/singer-songwriter/costume designer and the unveiling of a mural by Mickalene Thomas in the atrium of the Museum.
