Storm King Art Center
MF Productions has worked with Storm King Art Center in producing their Annual Gala and After Party, hosted at the iconic Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center, for the past two years. Storm King Art Center is widely celebrated as one of the world's leading sculpture parks, and has welcomed visitors from around the world for over fifty years. Its 500 acres of rolling hills, woodlands, and fields of native grasses and wildflowers provide the setting for more than 100 carefully sited sculptures created by some of the most acclaimed artists of our time.
The 2019 Annual Gala and After Party honored American sculptor and visual artist, Lynda Benglis, and collector and philanthropist, Nancy A. Nasher.
For the third year, the annual After Party was hosted by Molly Krause and Afrodet Zuri. The event featured DJ April Hunt, a silent auction, and a customized cocktail menu by Hudson Whiskey.
The 2018 Annual Gala and After Party honored artist Sarah Sze and Chairman of the Board James H. Ottaway Jr. At the Gala dinner, Storm King Art Center announced the new, site-specific commission Fallen Sky by Sarah Sze, which will be comprised of a deliberately incomplete and increasingly delicate 36-foot diameter spherical cavity, sheathed in mirrored stainless steel.
